Good Shepherd








Jesus told a story about a shepherd who had 100 sheep. When one sheep went missing, the shepherd left the 99 sheep to find the lost one!

Jesus said, "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" (Luke 15:4)
This story teaches us that God cares about every single person. If you ever feel lost or alone, remember that Jesus, the Good Shepherd, will always come looking for you!
Jesus said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)
Sheep know their shepherd's voice and won't follow a stranger. Can you find which voice belongs to the Good Shepherd?
The Good Shepherd's voice says things like:
We can hear Jesus's voice by reading the Bible, praying, and listening to people who teach us about God's love.
The Good Shepherd knows exactly how many sheep he has and notices right away if one is missing.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." (Psalm 23:1-2)
Just like a shepherd knows and cares for each sheep, Jesus knows and cares for each one of us!
